We provide support and training to Caregivers free of charge and will always do so. If you would like to make a donation to cover expenses such as zoom printing, telephone and internet as well as our time, you can do so by Etransfer to practicalcaregivinglanark@gmail.com. The funds will be deposited directly in to the Caregiver Hospice fund – an account hosted, but kept separate, from my personal bank account. No password is required.
Thank you so much for making it possible to offer this service. We are working hard to increase the availability of hospice palliative care in our community. We would like to see people die where they wish to die. For most, that is at home. But not for all. By offering support and training to Caregivers in the community we are building capacity from the ground up making it possible for everyone to die with dignity and with as much ease as possible.
This is as much for the person dying as for the friends and family they leave behind.
